In its latest release Reesut plays with trance states and meditation: s/he tries to evoke the flowing of waters with lushy drones, harsh glitches and slacky beats - a reality often exploited by waves of noisy debris or mid-filtered by bubbly soundstreams cuddling the listener into hypnotic dreamscapes.
The tracklist suggests some sort of fable-like development: a boat, a bunch of seamen, exotic lands and eerie, unexpected encounters.
The work comes in its physical format as an audiovisual kit where a long boat journey over undefined waters eases the watcher/listener into this inner tripping.
Ambient, hip hop, drone and experimental electronics merge in a lunatic narration of an adolescent's voyage into its inner waters and out into the air.
